  1. Listen… Those chords at 20:53…. OMG….. 😭😭😭😭😭😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 Love love LOVE. SO glad your advert popped up… I'm just teaching myself piano now and you have become one of my teachers even though this is the first video I've seen of yours. Fantastic teaching method!!! And you better SANNNGGGGG😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

  2. Easy way to remember Db Ma Scale: Play all the black keys and choose
(the-white-key-on-the-right) every time you get to a black-key gap.

Also B Major is the same (just pick the note on the left in each gap.)

(F#/Gb Major: Always choose the one nearest the 3 black keys…)

  3. Hey Warren. Very beautiful tutorial, but my…what a even more beautiful voice you have. You should really be touring around and singing for God's people. Anyone can learn to play piano, but not anyone is born with a voice to sing like you. You should really use it for Gods glory and see how He will bless you. I don't know much about you but if not yet, then you must make a worship cd. It will really be a blessing.

  4. Is this channel a scam? Sorry bro, that was no lesson at all! What do you expect anyone to learn from that? For beginners and intermediates? You just riff around in Dflat? are you taking meds?

  5. Hello Mr. Warren. Once more thanks for the tutoring. Sir, please I have a question: you explained to us that when I'm moving from a 1 to 5 I can use the Dominat 7 of the key im going to. In other words (in the key of C) when moving from C to G major i can play a D7. Mr Warren im having problems voicing the D7. Please how can I voice it. Thank you

  6. Also, yesterday as I was practicing on my piano I came across one concept you teached us: the Diminished 7 chord. It was so great. I'm thankful to you for the video. Yes C dim7 is the same as D# dim 7; same as F# dim 7; same as A dim 7. Thx a lot .

  7. I feel in love with your videos specifically because towards the end of all of your videos you go off like that and show me what I’m working towards! Thank you again!!! You light the πŸ”₯!!!

  8. Hi Warren,
I really love your videos; as a matter of fact I think they are extremely helpful for players at all levels but I get a little confused sometimes. For instance when u count beats and use nashville numbers I get lost sometimes as to which u are referring to. eg. When u say 7 1 I try to process exactly what u mean. Are you saying 7 as in diminished chord 7 (7th chord of a diatonic scale) or 7 as in a beat count? Also I get a little confused when u throw too many inversions around (It may also have to do with your voicing of the chords). Dont get me wrong, it started out great and I really loved the going pro section in the end but (in my opinion) for a "beginner and intermediate level" I felt it could have been simplified a little more whilst still maintaining the same level of progressive complexity.
If a noob like myself may dare to speak I would probably suggest u keep the inversions in the left hand or bass whilst the right hand plays the chords in root position so its easier to spot whats going on. Another reason why I say this is because not all of us are familiar with the diatonic chords of the 12 unique keys. That coupled with a mix of nashville numbers, beat counts and inversions leaves the mind slightly blown if not alot. The last thing I would like to add for everybody's convenience is maybe to use a key we are all familiar with (Beginner to Advanced level of players). For example the key of C is almost everybody's first go to since they are all white keys. Explaining the basic concept (like you usually do) will equip us to apply the basic principles to other keys as we learn them or as we advance.
Despite all that I (a noob) have pointed out I do acknowledge the fact that you may feel this is probably something reserved for people who register for "Piano lessons with Warren" (which I probs should register too) but I humbly and wholeheartedly beseech you to consider my comment for future lessons. I'm eager to learn from an amazing talent like yourself and please continue to be an inspiration to us all. Much love from Africa – Ghana πŸ‡¬πŸ‡ ❀

    Sincerely,
    Subscriber

Ps: The LMV files thing u talked about didn't work for me. Oh and I love your voice; I wouldn't be surprised if you play (quite sure) and sing (maybe) in Church.
    God bless brother πŸ™.
