  1. Thanks for uploading! If you have a second, I posted a cover of Brandi Carlile. As a fellow music fan, I'd love if you'd take a listen. It's on my page. Hope you enjoy. Don't go too hard on me 🙂

  2. Sara is one of the best singers I’ve ever heard. The way she plays with dynamics and her tone that can break your heart so easily and her control and how she connects emotionally to whatever she sings and everything else…. she is so good. And of course her writing ability. She is so natural.
Your friend is great. My only advice for your friend is to work on playing with her dynamics. She has a great voice she can work on playing with a little more to get some more expression out of her performance. That’s really it.

  3. I honestly get chills every time I listen to “you're keeping me down.” If you’ve never seen the performance on So You Think You Can Dance to this song, I highly recommend it. It was the first time I’d ever heard this song and it was amazing.

  4. Sara sounds as if she feels every emotional word in the song . It draws you in, both women sing flawless. Both are fantastic. Sara has feeling in her voice . I'm all about feeling the words you sing. But that just me

[ʊ] <– near-close (or near-high) back rounded vowel, aka "horseshoe u", is the vowel you're describing (in 'book' and 'put'). Not sure that this is exactly the vowel Sarah is using, but it seems to be closer than the standard American pronunciation of 'just'

[ʌ] <– open-mid back unrounded vowel, aka "carat", is the usual vowel in 'just' [d͡ʒʌst] (and 'putt') is a little lower in the jaw, more relaxed and open than [ʊ], and seems to be the vowel that Kat is using

  6. 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷React to Jessie J – I Have Nothing on The Singer 2018 please 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷

  7. Kay that was bomb. Sam that was super helpful to be able to hear multiple healthy approaches and some of what Kay worked on with you.
