Terrible video. I hope no one takes their strings off this way, you will add unnecessary wear and tear to your tuners. Plus, why would you destroy perfectly good strings?! You never know when you will need a spare to replace a broken one, and these used ones can be re-installed individually until they all wear out. I would never open a new pack of strings to replace one broken one, especially the high E, which is notorious for breaking.
My goddam e string kept popping thanks for this vid
I feel sad for watching the old string being cut off…
I bought a guitar 1 month ago and didn't learned a bit and what I learned I forgot 😂😂broke my 1st e string guitar
Iii have a question , i bought my guitar with metal strings , but i wanna change them to plastic strings cuz they make a more subtle sound , but i’m in love with my metal strings but on the other hands my fingers are crying , should i change them and can i just convert to plastic strings without complications?
That high E string makes me wanna quit doing music.
Edit: okay I'm done this is bad for my health, its definitely gonna leave a scar
Flip the camera angle maybe? Also you’ll need to pull through about a half inch of string in order for his measurements to work and not overlap.
Thank you so much for the tutorial ! Very great, super easy to follow.
So, three bottom strings counterclockwise, and three top strings clockwise?
Okay so im scared that what i start to twist the thing my string is tight and i dont want to pop my string again

Mine didn't break, but I can see where the string at the peg is starting to come off, and I don't wanna get popped sooo. I just need to tighten it but idk how. What's a string winder?? 🥲😰

Thanks, No Hair Jack Black
Thanks! I don't have a Fender but was wondering how to change the strings on my new guitar. In case one broke. It's not like the older guitars I had in the 70's.
Yeah, the Bottom E, E, D and G strings are easy, it's the Top E and B strings that are the bastards to do neat.
1:25 Lol dem strings are for the wife to deal with
Thank you, you helped me fix my guitar
Mean by disposal is throwing on the floor. Haha 😂
Doesn’t work at all. Instructions are very unclear
The Camera work is garbage
The time and energy it took for y’all to make this DIY video is very much appreciated! I snapped my 1st string (string) before watching this. Lol.
Thank U for this!
Thank U for this!
Thanks a lot it helped me 🥺💖
I broke my school’s guitar string IDFK WHAT TO DO
I don't know what i am doing here , I don't even have a guitar .
Can't seen clear view
bruh all these people here wo can‘t wind the strings without snapping: just take your fucking time, don‘t tune them up immediately. leave them a little looser for some time and then carefully tune up from low E to high E. Also new strings can have a completely different tension on the neck so you might have to ajust the truss rod or something else after. You can look this up on youtube too
Ive been playing guitar for years and I ALWAYS come back to this video every time I change my guitar strings lmao.
u look like a bald Ben Shapiro except less condescending and well informed.
I know this is from a while ago but where do I get a wire stringer
Broke my E string but learned how to touch the G string in just the right spot.
Still can't play worth crap but go have girls calling.
ive been playing for 6 years and have never broken a string and havent changed them in 3+ years. help.
Here I am once again, changing strings to this awesome video.
This is hilariously bad. @Fender needs to put a new video up. This only helps to waste money.
You should change your camera angle

Me: looks easy
Me again: ……wtf…why can’t I do it???!!!!….DAAADDDDDDDD!!!!!!
Alr so I have replaced them but there is lots of wire left and I am scared to keep turning because it will break the strings again do I just cut the left over wire once they strings are tuned
