  1. Terrible video. I hope no one takes their strings off this way, you will add unnecessary wear and tear to your tuners. Plus, why would you destroy perfectly good strings?! You never know when you will need a spare to replace a broken one, and these used ones can be re-installed individually until they all wear out. I would never open a new pack of strings to replace one broken one, especially the high E, which is notorious for breaking.

  2. Iii have a question , i bought my guitar with metal strings , but i wanna change them to plastic strings cuz they make a more subtle sound , but i’m in love with my metal strings but on the other hands my fingers are crying , should i change them and can i just convert to plastic strings without complications?

  3. Flip the camera angle maybe? Also you’ll need to pull through about a half inch of string in order for his measurements to work and not overlap.

  4. Mine didn't break, but I can see where the string at the peg is starting to come off, and I don't wanna get popped sooo. I just need to tighten it but idk how. What's a string winder?? 🥲😰

  5. Thanks! I don't have a Fender but was wondering how to change the strings on my new guitar. In case one broke. It's not like the older guitars I had in the 70's.

  6. bruh all these people here wo can‘t wind the strings without snapping: just take your fucking time, don‘t tune them up immediately. leave them a little looser for some time and then carefully tune up from low E to high E. Also new strings can have a completely different tension on the neck so you might have to ajust the truss rod or something else after. You can look this up on youtube too

  7. Broke my E string but learned how to touch the G string in just the right spot.
Still can't play worth crap but go have girls calling.

  8. Alr so I have replaced them but there is lots of wire left and I am scared to keep turning because it will break the strings again do I just cut the left over wire once they strings are tuned
