Being a 100% Mexican, I thought the commercial was tasteful. The people working the fields are not "Hispanic" they are Mexican from Jalisco. Real tequila cannot come from anywhere else but Tequila, Jalisco. It was a respectful view of our beautiful Mexico. Didn't focus on poverty, crime, or any other negative association people tend to affiliate Mexico with. As long as she maintains respect and professionalism when discussing or "representing" our Mexican culture I'm good with it.
She’s got the influencing power and she is risking her Image and perhaps her own money. The consumer will make the final decisions. I’m just glad she didn’t picked vodka yet.
