Rockinghorse Rotary: 1973 Mazda Luce GSII Hardtop Coupe – 929/RX4
An automotive design that is both highly distinctive and pleasing is not an easy thing to pull off. Mazda did it though with their 2nd generation Luce hardtop Coupe. This particular one is of the GSII grade and is powered by the 12A rotary engine with a 5 speed manual box.

Survivor Spec: 1969 Mazda Luce 1500 SS – 1st-Gen (SUA)
Each year this beautiful old Luce makes its way over the Kanmon Bridge from Yamaguchi to the Mojiko Retro Car Meeting. I’m certainly glad it does. This Luce is of the SS grade so it has the dual carburettor setup along with a floorshifted 4 speed. It is a twoowner car witch changed hands in about 1979.
