  1. I'm mostly a hard rock/metal guitarist and I've always wanted to learn how to play country style to broaden my abilities, but for some reason I've never been able to. I subscribed to you because I think you capture that sound and show the core elements better than anyone I've seen. Amazing stuff brother

  2. Hello all Dr Groovy fans! Apparently Scott is fighting some health issues right now. If you want to send him some good wishes just hit the thumbs up on this commentđź‘Ť. Thanks

  3. HEY YOU! lol Scotty too hotty my brother man. Man I have a big gig coming up here in a few hours. It is a senior prom. It's going to be a 2 hour show and I got a few songs picked out to do for you lol. I got a little bit of everything and you get to check out my new speaker system. Yeah I got you a few songs just for you. I know what you like partner.

GROOVY!!!!!!! The assistant living in jackson Villiage is having a senior prom dance for the residence and Becky the activity director asked the people who they wanted. Do you want a band or something with horns? they said no. We want Jerald lol so I'm proud to do this and it's gonna be a hell of a time and you will get to see. I got 35 songs so that might cover two hours lol but yeah man I cant wait and tare it up like a boss. When it's posted I'll let you know my groovy best friend my BFF. Im doing this one for you Scotty too hotty my man.

  5. Scott Grove you are the best guitar teacher on youtube hands down, thank you so much for making videos, we learn so much from you every day, appreciation from the Netherlands. Please keep making videos and LESSONS THAT DON´T SUCK

  6. Now THIS is the kind of lesson that drew me to this channel in the first place. If this is a sign of things to come, this channel could once again become my happy place. I love LOVE classic country and was so glad to stumble upon this lesson today. I felt like a tumblin' tumbleweed that finally landed back home. YES!

  7. Well it's an extra special vid for the fact that you brought out the Paisley & I first remember you talking about the axe's story during the Ask Scott Grove Anything series (the good ole days of YT:)) Great lesson & such useful info! Thank you! Think you'd ever do a vid on Waylon's tone w/ a tele? The strumming & single lines, like in I've Always Been Crazy? I'm assuming he used a phaser or maybe a chorus effect, both? It'd be interesting to know the tone to dial in to get in the neighborhood of his sound. Anyway, it's good to see you & thanks again for the vid! Btw, I have notifications on but didn't get any notice on this one (I checked). YouTube, smh.
