  1. Hey guys. Mr. Warren really is an awesome teacher. Take your time. I’m jumping from video to video from different users and this advanced stuff is really making sense. Remember: “ Once you understand theory and the musical language of the genre”.

  2. No matter how I try running away from you, you draw me back even with a greater force…you're great…now starting to get to work cos did video would amount lot of practise…tanks Warren…

  3. Good morning Sir and thank you very much for all you are doing .
    Why in Bb m 6 the 6th isn’t a Gb but just a G ?
Bb m is Bb C Db Eb F Gb A Bb or Bb C Db Eb F Gb Ab Bb if 7th is minor ?
I’m really sorry because my english is not good.
Have a good year. And God bless You.

  4. I don't know what to call what you did when you played at the beginning and end of your video, but it was GORGEOUS!!! 😍🙌🔥😍🙌

  5. I don't know if you still get comment notifications, but I came here, because I realized that I could not remember which way to play the C/F notation! YIKES! 😬 I could not remember if I was supposed to play the F chord with C in the bass or vice versa, so I typed in "chords with a different note in the bass" in the YouTube search window, and selected your video. This lesson was really great. Now I am clear that the notation going from left to right, ALWAYS lists the chord first and THEN the bass note played in the left hand. I ALSO learned, for the first time, that this type of chord has a name: "slash-chord!" I never knew there was a term for this type of chord! NOW I know!
I really appreciated how you explained HOW to use the slash chords in different ways! It sounded so beautiful!! That descending chromatic chord progression beginning at 8:21 was also gorgeous!! 😍
I am excited when the time comes for me to apply these concepts to the keyboard!
Thank you so very much, Mr. McPherson!!!
I wish you and your family many, Many, MANY blessings!

Please help me with this theory sir, can all slash chords have two names???

  8. Very useful lesson. I use these things. But now I got more ideas in using slash chords in advance level. thank u. I wish if pretty simple music KC, Corey Taylor, Sean Wilson and Warren these four people should come together in one tutorial. The YouTube will be on fire with harmonies, chords and melodies etc.
