  1. Most valuable comment here: Use the melodic minor as a mode. I’ll be honest enough to admit that I’ve never seen it like that in my 25 years or playing. πŸ’―

  2. This Channel has made me a better musician there's no way to return to where i was.
Thank you Sean,God bless you and a big hug from Brazil!!!!

  3. What you think about this movement? "We": Ab9sus (LH: Ab+Db & RH: Gb+Bb+Eb) – "need": Gbmaj7#11#5 (LH: Gb+D & LH: Bb+C+F) – "a": C7#9#11) (LH: C+E (over an octave) & RH: Bb+D#+F#) – "word": Fm7/4 (LH: F+C & RH: Bb+Eb+Ab) — ALTERNATIVELY last 2 chords: "a" B9 (LH: B+D# & RH: A+C#+F#) – "word": Fm11 (LH: F+C+Eb & RH: Bb+G+Ab) —– Best, Christian πŸ™‚

  4. Good morning, you do a lot of great work on here. whats your best advice on learning, I have been playing for a while but never really learned the right way. I want to attempt to learn things over. How do I start over?

  5. Jesus: I can’t work out the gospel chord progressions on piano!
God: I don’t know either, let’s watch Sean Wilson Piano and find out! Dude has better ears than me!

  6. That F 13 no 5 is πŸ”₯ πŸ”₯ πŸ”₯in that placement!!!!!! That is awesome to use an F major chord as a passing chord to F min. Dang, Sean! This one really opened up my eyes a ton!

  7. I just want to say God Bless you, Sean! Sean, with your teaching style, anyone can implement these chords correctly while having the theory behind it. For me, I've been playing for years, but to be honest, it was very hard for me to build and truly understand what I was playing. I'd play chords that sounded nice but could not explain what they were. I feel like it held me back a bit because If I was able to assess, I'd be able to grow much quicker instead of relying on just my ear and memorization. I will check out how to become a member on your website. I need to learn more!!

  8. Thank you for bringing back a timeless classic such as this. This and so many more lessons can be gleaned from the masters. Whitfield is probably my favorite out them all!
