  1. Do you need like fucking basketball player hands to play these cords? I can’t fit my hand across like 8 keys and place my fingers on diff keys between them it’s impossible my fingers tendons don’t let me stretch em like that!

  2. Love the way you play so I would LOVE to have you break this up and go slower for those of us who need a bit more instruction and aren't as familiar with all of the chords. I'm going to practice this as best as I can but will look forward to seeing another version.

  3. Thanks for the great tutorial!!! You are awesome!!! These folks who post crappy comments should behave themselves and I am sorry that these trolls do that. Anyway, I greatly appreciate your excellent teaching!!!

  4. You probably have a very jazzy background and you definitely spiced up the song accordingly and added your own riffs- but as someone trying to follow the chord progressions it was confusing because at times your notes differed in sections where they should have been uniform and that threw me off a bit.

It would have been nice, I think, to first introduce the root chord and then maybe show a few ways to jazz it up by adding extra notes and riffs and such.

But, again, great playing and although there was a LOT of pausing of the video, the tutorial definitely helped more than sheet music would have.

  5. Way to much stuff going on. Try slowing down a bit. Nice playing though. A tutorial is suppose to be a lesson. This was more of you just playing through the entire song.

  6. Not only is he all over the place, but that B flat chord when Sara sings "and all over me" should not have an A flat in it…. It should be a normal B flat or Bflat sus 2

  7. I like that piano sound
since I played keyboard Ive learned a lot of scaling that blowing my mind so hard and great but all that kind of sound is what you improvise a chords progression with scaling pattern by always keep your ears clear to hear while you practice any kind of piano song.. keep learning and practicing.. practice makes perfect..

  8. Sounds great but omg you're all over the place. I really mean both comments. It sounds great but isso unorganized and you are ALL OVER THE PLACE ad speaking fragment segments. Poor instruction, horrible instruction, sorry.

  9. This kinda was hard to follow, and really didn't educate me on the chord structure. I didn't learn much and it feels like I'm cheating myself.

  10. I thought I was the only one who couldn't follow this tutorial. It's a bit messy. But I will keep trying as it is the most beautiful instrumental for this song that I could find.

  11. Yes, it can be frustrating that he goes so fast. But he's an expert player, probably providing this tutorial for respectively experienced players (who can follow him with more relative ease and pace). I know the notes he's saying, but I'm not even close to experienced enough to follow, haha. So I paused after each chord/section and wrote the notes down. That way I can practice at my pace, and come back to this when I'm ready to "pick up the pace" and learn to play it a little more smoothly.

  12. The pause button doesn't help. You're using a piano whilst learning this so every time you have to lift your hands to press pause you lose the chord and it's a hassle finding it over and over and over and over. Slow it down. Please.

  13. Wow hey people, this guy is putting out these videos FREE! And did anyone ever hear of the PAUSE button? This type of video lesson isn't for those who need to see the musical notes – if so, go buy the music sheet. This is a play-by-ear vid, and it appears you have to be pretty familiar with the chords. So if you want to learn it from this guy, take your time, pause a lot, replay, and practice. If it's not your thing, hopefully you find a video tutorial that's easier for you to learn from.

  14. Peter, Great job showing the changes to a great tune! I'm such a fan of Sara Bareiles. You really captured the voicings and explained them in a quite understandable way….Thanks
