Hello from Ireland?. Been trying to get the c#minor right for the last 2 painful weeks trying to learn on fire from your other video.Only found this vid now.Almost there However my thumb is in a horizontal position half way down the guitar is that a common position also??Thanks man for your great vids they very well put together and explained I appreciate it?
Thank You
bakit pag ako nang gigigil nat lahat pangit pa ren tunog 〒_〒≥﹏≤
i’m 14 and i am semi small hands, is that gonna affect me at all?
I know what a bar chord is, the problem is in using the index finger to create the bar, I get too many dull notes. Should the index finger be flat on or sideways on, or somewhere in between?
This just taught me so much, thank you for this video!!!
awesome
pov: you still can’t do it and are still muting some strings
Thanks, this was so helpful I got the hang of bar chords right after watching this video!
1:28 I hate this chord so much that every time I play it on my guitar I just want to turn my guitar into a little chair. Seriously I how do people do it? I hate it
Its the thumb! Why didn't anyone tell me about the thumb!?!
Yo . this was very helpful.thank man
Thanks for the video. I play a classical guitar, that has a much wider neck and the major problem I have with barre chords is that critical strings come right in the creases of my index finger. Try as I might, I can't get all 6 strings pressed down hard enough to sound properly. I'm at a loss to know if this is a fixable problem. I've tried various positions of my finger all to no avail.
my thumb is about to fall off
No matter what position I put my hand in at least one string doesn’t play when playing bar chords. Does anyone know why ?
thank you so much for making this! I understand way more now.
Tks 4 sharing.
Any tip to make 3rd and 4rd thinguer make almost 90 degrees angle?
Thank you
Классный педагог!
when i play bar chords all the chords play dead any advice
please help me,i’ve been playing barre chords for 2 months now and there is a huge bump or big calluses on the side of my finger,i can play all barre chords pretty well but i just can’t play the e minor shape because the huge bump on my finger
Lmao this video taught more than my music teacher did.
*sweating in super short fingers*
is it just my guitar that the string is like rock solid to press it hurts my finger so bad even with calluses, it's a cheap guitar I fixed so I can learn
Thank you so much, this video is super informative and easy to grasp
You deserve a million likes bro
Do you press all the strings from your index finger or only the ones marked (1)?
Greeeaatttt!!!
Just noticed that in the 6th string root shapes, the third note of the chord is only supplied by the third string… COINCIDENCE?! Maybe, but it's a pretty handy way to remember part of the chord!
Thanks for making this accessible to everyone!
Thanks buddy it helped me a lot.
ive noticed that moving my thumb up the neck of the guitar helps me get a cleaner sound from the strings, but now my wrist is extremely bent when playing and it hurts. My hands are really small so a lot of these barre chords are much more challenging for me, is there any good solution to this?
Try index closer to the fret
I need you to tutor me…
Wow I learned stuff!!! THANKS BRO!
Am I the only one whose here bc their chubby fingers don’t let them play bare chords. My index finger doesn’t let me play the last string all the rest are good but when I try and play all of it together the thin string sinks into the end of my finger
This is great – I didn't know how to progress from my cowboy chords into bar chords….. thanks for showing! The video is nice and clear and simples! Great production and allows people like me, a drummer learning guitar who can't count past 4, that 6 isn't that far away!
i spent so much time trying to get barre chords straight and i aced it in one day im gonna scream
Love the way this guy says notes
Is it normal to feel like the absolute most powerful being in the multiverse when I master these damn things?
My fingers don't reach?
That tip of pushing into the guitar changed them for me! Thank you so much!
Awesome as always Rob!
Me: I can do it
My guitar: dream on kid!
Omg, all I had to do was tie my capo to my index finger
It's hard when you have small hands and fingers
