So good of u that u share everything sir ….thanks for the lesson
Thanks for these videos mate. I I've learnt so much from you. I've always been a copy cat shredder with next to no clue on how to improv. Your lesson on the mixo dorian blue note pentatonic scale has blown my mind. I thought it was 'breaking the rules' I doing stuff like that but I sound amazing over 12 bar blues now. Cheers. I'm now more confident in playing on the spot over backing tracks and pulling out all kinds of colourful licks
On borrowing chords… say Your playing in g. U can borrow chords from g minor. Just wondering since e minor is basically the same thing (though not really because it's more centered around g) does it work at all to borrow chords from the key of e(e minors parallel) while playing in g?
Brian, you're very good on theory, sincerely, why is Jazz a2-5-1 progression and most other genres are 1-4-5. Given, I know that a 2 is minor, please explain. Thanks, Sam Henry, Georgia
Any ideas of a good track to try this out?
What a great lesson! thanks for sharing Brian that was very helpful.
Great, thanks!
Nice playing man cheers
This is cool. Thanks.
Not a bad lesson Brian learned something today
Good stuff, man.I always tend to go for the arpeggios of a borrowed chord.this gives me some more ideas.thanks
Great video Brian, would like to see how to solo with the other types you mentioned, Thank you and regards!
Sweet..Brian I wonder are you going to NAMM
I never thought that sliding up 3 frets could make the transition from major to minor this easy, that was mega-useful, thanks!
