  1. We are so lucky to witness such musical aliens in our time. I say aliens because maestro doesn't do them justice. We have Roman Kim on violin, who can sound like no one else can, an entire orchestra out of one instrument. We have Dimash….F#1 to D8, opera to rap. And then we have Jacob Collier…..who can do everything else, plus invent a few things on the side….

  2. I practice licks all the time!
… but also I love your ability to always provide an emotional explanation to the sonic decisions you make. It speaks a great deal to your creative process.

  3. Great, but the beginning where he talks about moving the root up and inversions… that's soo basic. We had this in 3rd grade elementary music school. Don't understand why he's going over this at the masterclass level.

  4. If my example below has been removed, because there was a link, please search for "Hurriganes slipping and sliding".
There is an example of non-quantized drumbeat, which is so good just because, among others, it is non-quantized!

  5. At the end of the day Jacop create some real natural classics which we will all be singing till the grand reaper comes and then I WILL EAT MYCOMMENT
    ..
