Laminate Sample 5 in the Explore Composites! Materials Library:
This is a cored composite panel with 12oz eglass biaxial and 6oz unidirectional carbon skins. The core is 1/2\” Gurit M80 Corecell. Resin is Totalboat 5:1 Epoxy.
This panel shows what happens when you bleed off too much resin out of a wetlayup part with excess bleedstack, elevated temperature and an unnecessarily high vacuum level. Other than that it is a reasonable demonstration of a cored vacuum bagged laminate!
