  1. HOW ARE YOU ALL THERE , MAY I ASK FOR INTRODUCTION AS WHAT IS THE TRUE CHORD IT IS PLAYED ON ?? SORY FIR DISTURBING YOUR VIDEO SONG WITH CHORDS NOT A TUTORIA VIDEO GOD BLESS YOU ALL THERE

  2. Did anyone else find it weird that he didn’t play the exact chords that were on the diagrams? The chords on the diagrams were the same note names as the chords he played, but for instance, if you play a G5 (no 3), it has a different feel that a full G with the 3 on the A string second fret. I’m sure it seems nit-picky but you can change the sound of a song a lot by playing different variations of chords. For instance, on Green Day’s “I Hope You Have the Time of Your Life” (I can’t think of a Christian song that does this atm), he doesn’t use the index finger for the 3 on the G chord or the 3 on the C chord, he plays a hollow G (no 3) and a C2 (no 3 as well). He also doesn’t add the 3 on the D chord he uses either. These chords give the song a much more “serious” tone than, say a Chris Tomlin song with the 3 added in the G, C and D chords— a song like “Holy is the Lord”. In the Green Day song, he also keeps the D note (3rd fret on B string) going the whole song, which gives your ear something to grab on to—a drone, I suppose. Sermon over, you’re welcome; chords matter. ??

Anyways, the chords that sounded in the video fit with the radio version of the song that I know, I just happened to notice that the chords he played didn’t perfectly line up with what we heard. Doesn’t matter in the end, just don’t watch his fingers for the chords used, watch the chord diagram.

  3. Lord, I come, I confess
Bowing here I find my rest
    Without You I fall apart
You're the One that guides my heart

Lord, I need You, oh, I need You
    Every hour I need You
    My one defense, my righteousness
Oh God, how I need You

Where sin runs deep Your grace is more
Where grace is found is where You are
Where You are, Lord, I am free
    Holiness is Christ in me

Lord, I need You, oh, I need You
    Every hour I need You
    My one defense, my righteousness
Oh God, how I need You

So teach my song to rise to You
    When temptation comes my way
When I cannot stand I'll fall on You
Jesus, You're my hope and stay

Lord, I need You, oh, I need You
    Every hour I need You
    My one defense, my righteousness
Oh God, how I need You

You're my one defense, my righteousness
Oh God, how I need You
    My one defense, my righteousness
Oh God, how I need You
