Taking an over night train in Thailand is ok, I was able to sleep in the second class. It’s not great luxury but it’s doable. Often the best quality-price ratio taking into account time needed for the trip. Don’t expect any services other than toilet. In all the stops people though come to sell food but you can also take your own picnic or eat before/after getting in the train. In the night train you get clean white sheets and a curtain to have some privacy!

It is a little too cold an too much light in the top beds.
Beds are comfortable and clean.

Very easy to pick up tickets near train station. Train was on time. Beds were ready when we boarded.
Train arrived about 1.5 hours late to Bangkok but didn’t cause us any issues. I would definitely use 12go again to book travel.

Seats recline quite far, but there is stil not enough legroom to actually be comfortable enough to sleep, if you are like me who isn’t usually the best at falling asleep on planes and such (I am 167 cm). The bathroom was better than most busses. The bus arrived 2 hours earlier than planned. That can be both a good and a bad thing. It was fine for the price we payed.

Traversée en bateau puis Voyage en train agréable, couchettes confortables. Sommes arrivés avec du retard 2h, prévoir large si connection après le train

Hatte als Alleinreisende ein Abteil für mich allein und man konnte absperren.
Sauberes Bett, Kissen, Decke.
Sehr kühl durch die Lüftung. Eigenes Waschbecken. Gemeinschaftstoilette.
Zug und Abteil ziemlich alt und abgenutzt.
Mit der verspäteten Ankunft von 2 Stunden hab ich gerechnet.
