Thank you Dave. The tuitorial instructions are so clear and easy to follow. Sounds the closest to Ed Sheeran acoustic original. By mastering this song alone, I can improve the different styles of playing guitar. On the set of chords of key G ( capo on ) , I learn to change chords from G-Em-Cadd9-D without lifting the ring finger and little finger. Definitely will master and reuse this set of magical chords in other songs. The strumming patterns of six strokes per chord kept the timing right on like a metronome.
The short guitar licks solo helps beginner like to me to hear/play the right spots, improve skills like hammer on, note shifting and one pull off. Not forgetting to mention the finger plucking patterns and the roll of finger plucking of many chords changes before ending the song in chord G in style. I can call myself a guitarist after learning to play this just one song : )

i usually never comment but i really felt the need to tell you how much i appreciate the effort you put into these videos. so many guitar tutorials leave me confused and i just end up giving up a lot of times. but you explain the songs so structured and easy to understand and even demonstrate them as a whole. that really helps a lot.

This a very good tutorial. I really like your approach. During the break section the diagram doesn't match what you are actually doing though and that was a little confusing. Your actions are correct but just the diagram is incorrect.
