Had most of this cover recorded back then, so I decided to finish it up now~ I got pretty emotional making this cover tbh.. thinking about everything EXO and EXOL’s went through last year.. and what is also currently happening this year. This song is my favorite ballad from them, and I just had to make a cover of it. Knowing there are plenty of international fans, I decided that translating this song would help a lot. I tried my best to convey the same message in the original song. Not every word 100% matches the Korean lyrics, and I modified some words to make this English cover flow well.
My favorite line in this cover would have to be \”Shining silver, never lose that glow.\” It’s not part of the original song, but I just thought of that line as I was writing the lyrics hehe~ As long as there is EXO, there will be EXOLs. And as long as there are EXOLs, there will be EXO. The silver ocean will always keep on shining.
