  1. Taylor will never understand how this song make me cry and sad 😪😭 ….hush , I know they said the end is near 😭😭😭😭😭

  2. 'I can change everything about me to fit in'
This hits hard hard after watching Miss Americana where she said ' I became the person everyone wanted me to be' which implies she lost her true self in the process.

  3. Notice how the song starts with "I want you to know". I think it shows how much she wants to be seen in this song, she's saying "I want you to know all this about me so that you see me for what I am".

  4. Once Taylor tweeted that there are some references from Mad Woman, Mirrorball, Seven, Cardigan and Exile in Willow and I just found that out.

In Mad Woman there is a lyric "And women like hunting witches too" and at 2:16 She is with a bunch of women who are hunting witches

In Mirrorball there is a lyric " I know they say the end is near, but I'm still on my tallest tiptoes", and in Willow, both of them quietly walks to the door, and the video ends. There are also two lyrics "I'm still on that tightrope" and "Shimmering beautiful", and in this video she holds a tightrope which is shimmering beautiful.

In Seven there is a lyric "Although I can't recall your face, but I still got love for you", and in this video, it shows that the two of them were childhood friends 1:00 and it seems like they met after over a decade, and it's hard to remember a person's face after so long. There are two other lyrics "Just like a folk song, our love will last so long", and there love really lasted long, and Seven is from FOLKlore.
In Exile she says "I gave so many signs, but you didn't even see the signs". She's given so many signs that she was dropping Willow, but none of us even realised

On top of that Willow is a sequel of Cardigan.

  5. I'm still trying everything to keep you looking at me ~This line hides an emotional truth. That we are always trying something to just make others happy. So that they Don't get bored with us or if we can just be something to that someone Whom we want to be our everything.
But then we also see them, whom we have loved in Secret, looking at someone else with that affection which we have always wanted for OUR selves. It’s heart breaking.

  6. This shows me that we all are fragile, and we want to be noticed by someone. Amazing song I really like it though it seems sad and lonely I think it's message is also to hope to me more than only wanting to impress other people. So talented!
