Hi Mr. Tim ,thank you for the triads video, its so quality and easy to adapt.cheers!
Too good… your teaching skills are topπ
Too much at once for me. I'm a codger
Boosting confidence …what an exquisite way of explaining π
i like this, I play by ear a little, but I would like to enhance the skills of learning "all" the chords.
Very detailed. Thank you so much, I learned a lot #whoneedstopayforlessonswhenyouhaveyoutube
Thanks Tim for this wonderful lesson, best ever!
Terrific presentation. You never disappoint me Mr Tim thanks a ton.
Tim, great work, thanks for all your videos! One notice though, at 19:35 you talk about E major 7th chord and instead of playing D# as the 7th note, you play D.
Very comprehensive, thanks for the effort!
thank you!!
Tim, you are a great teacher and I thank you for all the work you do on the Youtube piano lessons. This is just a thought, but a print out chart of the formulas (whole step/half step) you have given for all the chords, maj. min, dim,& aug would be a tremendous aid to help memorise them. I have taken notes and I am going to type them up but it is possible I have made a mistake in writing them down. I could go over the lessons again, and I usually do but a formula chart of the forumlae -whole steps, half steps prepared by you would be really helpful. I am a senior learner and am only up to early intermediate in terms of playing = but I do not have the theory behind me which is very important and that is where your lessons have been invaluable. Once I am a little more confident with the theory I will take one of your courses.
This is the very best lesson on chord knowledge and practice that I have ever seen Thank you, thank you.
You explain very well but I canβt follow which keys youβre playing. Cause your fingers all look like theyβre touching the keyboard.
Thank you for all the information though! π€
Dude I have been playing by ear for the last 35 years. Never had any professional training or music theory basis. I have lead bands, played in concerts, all sorts of things, but I never knew the official names for some of the stuff I did, and always wanted to understand that better. Iβm blind, so I canβt just pick up a book and read the music.
In this one video you have answered questions I have been wondering about for a long time.
Short of sitting down with a music major and saying: OK, so what is this chord called? And when I play it like this what is it called? Etc., which I never took the time to do, this video answered much. There are more of coarse, and I hope you will answer those as wellβI would like to know what all the more interesting chords are calledβbut this is great stuff man. I watched several of your other videos and you are an excellent teacher.
you make my learning easy, fast and stress free
I baught a piano yeasterday and oh my god you have taught me so many things already
