  2. I took piano lessons for 6mos when I was 10. 20 years later, I developed bad habits and have never really progressed. Now I truly want to be capable of playing the piano with the goal of being able to play Hymns.

    The problem is, playing all 4 notes together all at the same time is very hard for me. And I thought that playing the chords is an escape/excuse for me to not learn to sight-read.

    But this video just gave me a new light. My goal is to be able to play Hymns for church. And if it makes it easier for me to do some sight-reading with chords, then why not. Thanks for this. This inspired me to learn and practice both sight-reading and chords.
